Paget Farm Takes Public Speaking Title Roella Bynoe of Paget Farm Primary School is the winner of the inaugural Bequia Primary School Public Speaking Competition.The Competition, organized as part of the annual week of activities of the Bequia Tourism Association, and held on November 22 at the Bequia Anglican School, attracted participation from the Paget Farm Government School, Paradise Primary and the Bequia Anglican School. Participation by the Bequia Seventh Day Adventist Primary did not materialize. At the end of the prepared speech and impromptu speech segments, Roella Bynoe emerged winner, ahead of Tamara Woodley of Paradise Primary in 2nd place and Ronecia Henry of Bequia Anglican Primary, 3rd. Topics included Tourism in Bequia, Homework, and the Use of Netbooks. An added attraction was the involvement of persons from the audience in impromptu speeches. The over 150 students and adults who attended were particularly impressed with the involvement of a student from the Sunshine School (School for Children with Special Needs) in this segment.
